The previous version of the Olives Norwich website had been put together by the cafe owner (Mick) in an attempt to manage costs. Over time, Mick realised that the website was failing to attract new customers and increase his profits. He recognised that he needed to attract a greater market share.
First Steps
We began by working through a website audit which helped Mick to understand the importance of Search Engine Performance and 'getting noticed online'. We decided to try and attract people who were looking for 'the best breakfast in Norwich'.
The Additive Solution
With a custom designed background that matchs the 'blackboards and brick' feel of the actual cafe, we set about optimising the content to respond to our target audience.
The result of this optimisation is that anyone entering 'best breakfast in Norwich' into Google, will see the Olives cafe on page 1 out of 210,000 possible search results. Now Mick is getting noticed online.
